Breda (pronunciation (help·info)) is a municipality and a city in the southern part of the Netherlands. The name Breda derived from brede Aa ('broad Aa') and refers to the place where the rivers Mark and Aa come together. Breda's Urban Area has around 200.000 - 300.000 people.
