Behind its facade lies a veritable treasure of art deco. Built in the beginning of the last century and recently renovated, many of the original features have been preserved.

Lying between Antwerp and Rotterdam, formerly a fortified city of significant strategic importance, Breda retains a more peaceful past with a weekly market that takes place every Tuesday as it did since it began in 1321. These days, there is a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from.
